The High Capacity Actively Controlled Steering (HICAS) system can sometimes interfere with precise control at the limit, especially during counter-steering or drifting. By removing it, you gain a more direct and predictable feel from the rear of the car.

This kit is a comprehensive solution, replacing the stock HICAS components with well-built parts designed for performance and durability. It includes lightweight billet HICAS conversion brackets and SPL Parts Rear Toe Rods. These toe rods feature gun-drilled 2024 aluminum center links, clamps, and clevises, accented with blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws. They also incorporate SPL's 360-degree rotating clamp system, making alignment adjustments straightforward with just a 3/16" Allen key, eliminating the hassle of traditional jam nuts. The kit also replaces the stock HICAS balljoints with SPL's FKS series Monoball Bushings, which use FK Racing Bearings with a self-lubricating Teflon liner and are housed in precisely machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum shells for an accurate fit.

For models with hydraulic HICAS, this kit also includes fittings to delete the hydraulic pump loop. Everything is proudly made, engineered, and assembled in the USA, ensuring a high standard of construction. This kit is sold as a complete package for one vehicle.
