Star Tron uses an enzyme-based formula to address the problems that ethanol-blended gasoline causes in engines that sit for extended periods. If you have a car, motorcycle, boat, lawn mower, or generator that does not get regular use, stale fuel with ethanol can gum up carburetors and fuel injectors, cause hard starting, and lead to phase separation in the tank.

This 8-ounce bottle treats fuel at a ratio of 1 ounce per 6 gallons for maintenance dosing, or 1 ounce per 3 gallons for an initial treatment on an engine that has been sitting. The enzymes break down gum, carbon, and varnish deposits in the fuel system while also dispersing water as submicron-sized droplets that burn off safely during normal engine operation. Star Tron claims their formula stabilizes fuel for up to 2 years, which makes it particularly useful for seasonal equipment and stored vehicles.
