The cryogenic treatment on this StopTech Sport Rotor is a permanent process that permanently improves the performance and wear characteristics of the metal. This is a one-time treatment that you can't see, but fleet customers are sold on its ability to extend the service life of the brake rotor. This rotor is designed for the front left position and features a black E-coated non-friction surface for corrosion protection. The double disc ground friction surface ensures a consistent contact area for optimal performance and service life.

StopTech uses split-core castings with symmetric vane designs for uniform heat distribution, which helps resist cracks from thermal stress. The directional curve vane design, found on selected applications, works with the slots to help evacuate gases, dust, and heat.
