The PTFE inner liner in these StopTech stainless steel braided brake lines is key to their performance. It resists expanding under pressure, which is a common issue with older rubber lines, especially on a car like your '92-'00 Lexus SC300 or '93-'98 Toyota Supra. This resistance means you get a firmer, more consistent pedal feel every time you hit the brakes.
Beyond that PTFE liner, the stainless steel woven braid gives the lines support and protection against impacts and abrasion. A clear PVC cover is added to prevent chafing, and the reinforced end fittings are 100 percent tested for reliability.
