Supertech is known for making well-built engine components for performance applications. This set of six forged pistons is specifically made for the BMW S54B32 engine found in the E46 M3. These pistons are designed to be a 0.5mm oversize, measuring 87.5mm in bore diameter, which is a common size when rebuilding or modifying these engines to restore or improve performance.

Forged pistons are stronger and more durable than cast pistons because they are made from a single piece of aluminum that is heated and hammered into shape. This process creates a denser grain structure, making them more resistant to the high pressures and temperatures found in performance engines. These Supertech pistons feature a 12.5:1 compression ratio, which will increase the engine's power output compared to stock, but requires careful consideration of fuel octane and tuning. This set includes six pistons, but please note that the piston rings are sold separately and will need to be purchased in addition to this kit.
