Tailgate EasyLift Torsion Bar by Hoppy

I got this for my dodge ram 1500 witch if you own one you know why.. they feel like the tailgate is filled with concrete...this product made i nice difference you can actually lift it with one finger soo i say it was worth it do to how much i open and close my tailgate

I bought one and installed on my Dodge 1500 tailgate. I am absolutely amazed at the difference. I get a kick out of asking people to open and shut my tailgate just to watch their posture and the look on their faces. They expect it to be heavy and freak out when they find they can actually do it with one finger. This thing is a no-brainer buy. Only one thing ! Now I have to install one on my girlfriends truck and her sisters truck. I do have good taste in women, Huh?

I purchased one of these and by all means, get two helpers. It is really a challenge to twist the tailgte around to insert the rod and then twist it around again to insure it goes to the specified depth. I used rubber grommets in the drilled holes coated with synthetic grease. It is not easy to install but once done, it works great! Also, be sure to drill a pilot hole first before using the larger drill bit, it will go much easier.

I can say I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Easylift Torsion bar from Auto Barn. The Bar was easy to install and works like a dream. Auto Barn is a Great supplier and will look forward to purchasing other items in the future for my 2004 Dodge ram. Thank you!
