When installing this wastegate, ensure you have the appropriate V-band flanges welded to your exhaust manifold or downpipe. Proper plumbing to the wastegate actuator from your boost controller is crucial for accurate boost control. Because this is an external wastegate, it vents exhaust gases away from the turbocharger's turbine housing to regulate boost. This unit is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
