9 gallons (usable gallons) larger than the stock tank, this massive 43 gallon tank for the Chevrolet/GMC 1500 Duramax diesel pick-up truck gives you the freedom to get out on the road without worrying where the next fuel stop is. TITAN Fuel Tanks Direct Replacement, Mid-Ship Fuel Tanks are manufactured to use the trucks stock/original equipment fuel sending unit. The trucks stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted into the TITAN tank. They are a direct fit, there are no modifications needed. With use of the stock sending unit, the trucks analog fuel gauge will read correct and accurate with the TITAN tank.
