This is the Turbo XS 50/50 Hybrid Blow Off Valve, specifically made for your 2008-2014 Subaru WRX. A blow-off valve, or BOV, is a crucial part of a turbocharged engine. It releases excess boost pressure when you let off the throttle, preventing compressor surge and helping your turbocharger spool up faster for the next gear. This hybrid design lets you choose how much air is vented back into the intake system versus releasing it to the atmosphere, giving you some control over that classic BOV sound.
