The Turbosmart Gen4 CompGate40 is a 40mm external wastegate designed to manage boost pressure in turbocharged applications. This model comes pre-set with a 14psi spring and features a black finish. It's built to handle the heat and flow demands of turbocharged engines, helping to maintain consistent boost levels.
This wastegate uses a stainless steel cast body and an aluminum actuator housing. The valve itself is a solid piece of stainless steel, designed for durability and reliable operation. It connects via V-band clamps on both the inlet and outlet, making installation straightforward for compatible 40mm piping. The actuator uses a high-temperature silicon Nomex diaphragm, and the unit includes twin 1/16" NPT reference ports for boost control setups. A unique locking collar design helps secure the assembly.
Keep in mind that this wastegate is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It's a well-built component for managing boost on your turbocharged vehicle.
