The Turbosmart TS-1 6870 is designed to handle the demands of both racing and serious street performance, offering improved airflow and responsiveness. It features a V-band inlet and outlet, making installation straightforward in custom setups, and an external wastegate port for precise boost control.

This turbocharger is built with modern materials and manufacturing techniques to be smaller, lighter, and faster than many comparable units. The turbine housing is made from lightweight 310s stainless steel and uses CFD-driven design for optimal airflow at its 0.96 A/R. For extreme exhaust gas temperatures, it includes a T14 Inconel turbine wheel, known for its exceptional heat resistance. The compressor cover is made of lightweight aluminum and features aggressive 7+7 splitter wheels designed for improved aerodynamics. At its heart, a proprietary dual ceramic ball bearing system helps reduce friction and allows for unparalleled transient response, meaning the turbo spools up quicker and reacts faster to throttle changes.

The center housing includes an integrated iron backplate for added durability. This turbocharger is VSR speed balanced to ensure smooth operation and longevity. Keep in mind that this turbocharger is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. For optimal performance and longevity, ensure proper oil supply and cooling are maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
