This Turbosmart Type S Supersonic BOV Controller Kit starts with a billet 6000 series aluminum construction for the RacePort 50mm blow-off valve, ensuring a strong foundation for controlling boost. This kit is designed for diesel or performance engines that run with low or no vacuum, giving you the ability to make those satisfying blow-off valve sounds. It includes both the electronic controller and the RacePort 50mm VTA (Vent to Atmosphere) blow-off valve, providing a complete package to manage your boost pressure effectively.
The RacePort valve itself is built with a MILSPEC hard-anodized valve guide and stem, which is a tough finish that resists wear and tear. Inside, a hi-temp proprietary silicon Nomex diaphragm handles the pressure fluctuations, and the valve seat is designed for positive sealing to prevent leaks. The design was optimized using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for better airflow, and it can flow over 330 CFM, which is substantial for a 50mm valve. You also get a unique locking collar design for easy adjustments and a quick-release V-band clamp for straightforward installation. The controller allows for adjustable sensitivity and duration, giving you fine-tuned control over when and how the valve operates.
