Turbosmart Water Cooled 6466 V-Band Inlet/Outlet A/R 0.82 External Wastegate TS-2 Turbocharger

This is the Turbosmart TS-2 turbocharger, a water-cooled unit designed for high-performance applications. It features a 64mm compressor wheel and a 66mm turbine wheel, with a V-band inlet and outlet and an A/R ratio of 0.82 on the turbine housing. This turbocharger is built to handle demanding conditions, offering improved transient response and the ability to manage extreme exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).

The TS-2 series leverages modern manufacturing techniques to create a turbocharger that is smaller, lighter, and faster than previous designs. Its turbine housing is investment cast from lightweight 310s stainless steel and features CFD-driven design for optimal airflow and A/R ratios. The compressor cover is made of lightweight aluminum, and the unit utilizes a proprietary dual ceramic bearing system for enhanced durability and performance. The T14 Inconel turbine wheel is specifically chosen for its ability to withstand extreme EGTs, while the integrated iron backplate on the center housing adds to its robust construction.

This turbocharger is VSR speed balanced for precision. Please note that this turbocharger is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It is designed for performance builds where managing high exhaust gas temperatures and achieving quick spool times are critical.
