What you get with the Turbosmart WG45 Gen V Hyper-Gate 45 Motorsport wastegate is a complete external wastegate assembly ready for demanding applications. This unit comes with a 14psi actuator, strap-style V-band clamps for a 45mm V-band connection, and a CFD-driven heatsink design. It's built with a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body and a Nitronic 60 valve guide, materials chosen for their ability to withstand extreme heat and wear. The actuator housing is also rotatable, giving you flexibility during installation.

This Motorsport version of the Gen V Hyper-Gate 45 takes thermal management to the next level. While all Gen V wastegates use a ceramic isolator to reduce heat transfer, the Motorsport range adds a significant heatsink between the actuator and the wastegate body. This heatsink, designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and validated on the bench and in real-world conditions, works with convection and physical shielding to keep harmful heat away from the actuator. This not only extends the life of the actuator but also aids in cooling the valve and guide, crucial for endurance motorsport where components are pushed to their limits for extended periods. The 17-7 PH stainless steel springs offer excellent fatigue resistance, ensuring consistent performance over time.

This wastegate is designed for serious performance builds where managing boost pressure accurately and reliably under extreme conditions is paramount. An optional position sensor can be added separately to monitor wastegate position, and liquid actuator cooling is also an available option for even more extreme setups.
