This UMI Performance bolt-in rear coilover conversion kit is designed for 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Skylark, and Pontiac GTO. It allows for comprehensive adjustments to your rear suspension, including ride height, spring rate, and damping. This kit enables you to fine-tune your vehicle's handling characteristics by adjusting the instant center location, which is crucial for optimizing traction and stability, especially during spirited driving or track use.

You'll receive reinforced upper and lower mounting brackets, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for strength. The upper mount is built to accept a 2-1/2 inch racing coilover with a double-shear configuration, ensuring a solid connection. The lower brackets bolt directly onto existing Quick Performance rear lower control arm mounts, and they also feature a 2-hole adjustment mechanism for the trailing arm height. This allows for precise calibration of the instant center location across three available positions. The kit is manufactured and tested in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, using 100% US-sourced materials, reflecting a commitment to quality and domestic production.

While the brackets are designed as a bolt-in installation, we advise installing them first and taking center-to-center measurements at ride height to ensure you select the correct shock absorber part numbers.
