Built from 1-1/4” x 2” rectangular steel tubing with a 1/8” wall thickness, these boxed lower control arms from UMI Performance are a strong replacement for your 2005-2014 Ford Mustang's stock arms. The factory control arms can flex and deflect, especially under load, which can lead to wheel hop and less consistent handling. These UMI arms use a boxed construction to eliminate that flex, and they swap out the stock rubber bushings for greaseable polyurethane ones.
This setup is designed to minimize wheel hop and help keep your car tracking straight, whether you're driving daily or hitting the track. The oversized bushing holders are MIG welded for a solid build, and the arms are finished with a gloss powdercoat. Installation is straightforward, using your Mustang's original hardware with no drilling or welding required.
