It replaces the factory stamped bar with a much stronger tubular design, which is crucial for keeping your rear end centered, especially after lowering the vehicle or when fitting larger tires. This bar is built with UMI's Roto-Joint technology, which allows for a significant amount of rotation without the binding you'd get from stiff bushings.

The Roto-Joints themselves are pretty neat; they act like a spherical rod end but use a Delrin race to keep things streetable. This design helps prevent suspension bind, leading to improved traction and a noticeable reduction in wheel hop. The spherical ball is made from 4140 chromoly with a hard chrome plating for wear resistance, and it rotates in a CNC-machined Delrin bushing. The whole assembly is TIG welded for strength and is fully adjustable right on the car, meaning you don't have to unbolt anything to make changes. The chromoly threaded tube adapters and the DOM mild steel tubing construction mean this bar is built to last.
