This UMI Performance rear shock tower brace is a bolt-in part designed for 1964-1967 GM A-Body cars, like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Special. It connects the upper shock mounts to help stiffen the chassis and share the load between them. This can lead to a more stable feel when you're driving, especially during spirited driving or when cornering.

Built from strong 1-1/4” USA-made tubing, this brace features MIG-welded construction and 3/16” thick laser-cut brackets for a solid fit. It’s designed to be a true bolt-in installation using basic hand tools, and all the necessary Grade 8 hardware is included. UMI Performance powder coats these braces for a durable finish, and they're manufactured right here in Philipsburg, PA. This brace is made to clear most popular exhaust systems and works with both traditional coil spring setups and coilover shocks. Please note, this brace does not fit wagon or El Camino models.
