UMI Performance 64-67 GM A-Body Rear Shock Tower Brace Bolt In

This UMI Performance rear shock tower brace is built from strong 1-1/4” diameter US Steel tubing, MIG welded to 3/16” thick laser-cut brackets. It’s designed to tie the upper rear shock mounts together, sharing the load and stiffening the chassis for improved handling. This brace is a bolt-in part, meaning you won't need to weld or make permanent modifications to install it, and it comes with all the necessary Grade 8 hardware to get the job done with basic hand tools.

The design team at UMI Performance has made sure this brace clears most popular exhaust systems and works with both traditional spring and shock setups as well as coilover conversions. It's manufactured and tested in Philipsburg, PA, USA, and features a durable powder-coated finish for long-lasting protection. This brace fits a range of GM A-Body cars from 1964-1967, including models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Oldsmobile Cutlass, but it does not fit wagon or El Camino models.
