What you get here are a pair of UMI Performance boxed lower control arms, fully assembled and ready to bolt on. These aren't your stock arms; they're built with UMI's Roto-Joint technology on both ends, designed to give you a bind-free performance and a comfortable ride on a wide range of classic A-Body vehicles, including models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Skylark from 1964 through 1972.
These control arms are fabricated from strong 0.120" wall rectangular steel tubing, measuring 3" by 1-1/2". They're MIG and TIG welded for superior strength and feature CNC machined holders for the bushings. The Roto-Joints themselves are a pivot ball design with a greaseable Delrin race, offering 28 degrees of movement. This allows your rear end to articulate freely, which is great for spirited driving or autocross, while the Delrin race absorbs road noise and shock for a quiet street ride. The solid construction eliminates control arm flex and bushing deflection, leading to improved traction and a reduction in wheel hop. They also include reinforced provisions for adding a rear sway bar.
These control arms are shipped fully assembled and feature a durable powder coat finish. They are designed to use your vehicle's original hardware for installation.
