UMI Performance 64-72 GM A-Body Front A-arm Kit 1/2in taller upper ball joints

If you're looking to give your classic GM A-Body a serious handling upgrade, this fabricated tubular A-arm kit from UMI Performance is a solid choice. It replaces your car's worn-out stock stamped arms with a much stronger, more precise setup, making a noticeable difference in how your car feels on the road, whether you're cruising, hitting the drag strip, or carving corners. This kit is designed to fit a wide range of popular A-Body models, including the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Skylark, among many others from 1964 through 1972.

The lower arms use tough tubular steel with polyurethane spring isolators and greaseable bushings for a smooth ride and sharp handling. The upper arms are assembled with UMI's own low-deflection Delrin bushings and billet CrMo cross shafts, and they feature a relocated mounting pad that increases caster without needing excessive shims. A key feature is the included 1/2-inch taller upper ball joints, which significantly improve the camber curve for better tire contact during cornering. Both sets of arms are jig-built for accuracy, TIG welded in critical areas for strength, and come pre-assembled with premium ball joints. They're finished in a durable red or black powder coat to look great and resist corrosion.
