UMI Performance 64-72 GM A-Body Front A-arm Kit Delrin Bushings

The UMI Performance front A-arm kit, featuring greaseable Delrin bushings, is built with TIG welded DOM tubing for superior strength and a clean look. This kit replaces your classic GM A-Body's worn-out stamped steel control arms with a high-strength tubular construction designed to bring modern muscle car feel to your classic. The lower arms maintain stock geometry but are angled slightly to allow for more tire clearance and work with lowered vehicles. They also include polyurethane spring isolators for a more comfortable ride. The upper arms feature a relocated mounting pad to increase caster without needing excessive shims, and they come with 1/2" taller upper ball joints to improve camber performance. Both upper and lower arms are jig-built for accuracy and come pre-assembled with premium ball joints.

UMI builds the Delrin bushings in-house, ensuring smooth suspension action and precise handling with low deflection. These arms are designed to work with factory spindles, drop spindles, factory springs, lowering springs, and coilover kits like the popular QA1 setups. The kit includes recommended alignment specifications and detailed installation instructions to help you get the most out of your new suspension. This kit fits a wide range of 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, including popular models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Skylark, and Pontiac GTO. A separate hardware kit (P/N 4004) is available to replace worn factory fasteners with new Grade 8 hardware.
