UMI Performance 64-72 GM A-Body Front A-arm Kit Delrin Bushings

When you're rebuilding the front suspension on your classic GM A-Body, starting with a solid set of control arms makes a huge difference. This kit from UMI Performance gives you a complete set of upper and lower tubular A-arms, designed to replace your worn-out stock stamped arms. It's a comprehensive package that includes everything you need to get your classic handling more like a modern muscle car. This kit fits a wide range of vehicles, including popular models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Oldsmobile Cutlass, among many others from 1964 to 1972.

What you get in this kit is a fully assembled set of upper and lower A-arms, ready to bolt on. UMI builds these arms from strong DOM tubing, with critical areas TIG welded for extra durability. Inside, you'll find their own greaseable Delrin bushings, which offer precise handling and smooth suspension movement without excessive deflection. They've also incorporated polyurethane spring isolators for a bit of ride comfort and included upgraded, taller upper ball joints to improve camber performance. The ball joint mount on the lower arms is angled slightly to work better with lowered vehicles and offers more tire clearance. The upper arms feature a relocated mounting pad to help increase caster without needing a stack of shims, leading to a better steering feel.

This kit comes pre-assembled with premium ball joints and includes polyurethane bump stops. It's designed to work with your factory springs, lowering springs, or even coilover kits like the popular QA1 setups. UMI also includes recommended alignment specifications and detailed installation instructions to help you get the most out of these arms. To complete the installation, you'll need the separate hardware kit (Part # 4004), which includes Grade 8 bolts, washers, and nylock nuts to replace your old fasteners.
