UMI Performance 64-72 GM A-Body Rear Coilover Kit (225LB Spring Rate)

This kit includes a pair of UMI Performance rear coilovers with 225lb springs, reinforced upper and lower mounting brackets, and Viking Performance adjustable shocks. It's designed to fit a wide range of 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, including popular models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Skylark, and Pontiac GTO. This system allows for full adjustment of ride height, spring rate, and damping, giving you the flexibility to tune your suspension for different driving styles.

The upper mount is a direct bolt-in with a provision for one additional hole, creating a true double-shear mount for the 2-1/2” racing coilover. UMI’s FEA-designed lower brackets bolt directly onto the stock rear lower control arm mounts, using existing shock holes and potentially requiring an extra hole depending on your car's original setup. The trailing arm height adjustment feature, with two distinct positions, lets you fine-tune the instant center location for optimal performance whether you're setting up for drag launches or road racing. The included Viking Performance shocks offer 19-way adjustability for both compression and rebound, ensuring you can dial in the perfect ride for any situation. This kit is intended for a 2-3 inch Pro-Tour style lowering.

This kit is manufactured in the USA using US materials and is designed for factory GM axle housings only. It's important to note that rear shocks may not clear all exhaust tailpipes, and this kit is not compatible with aftermarket axle housings from companies like Quick Performance, Currie, or Moser. For optimal results, always refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions.
