Product Details

Starting with 1.500" OD x 0.120" DOM steel tubing, these rear lower control arms from UMI Performance are built to handle more than the stock arms on your classic GM A-Body. If your car is a Buick Skylark, Chevrolet Chevelle, Oldsmobile Cutlass, or Pontiac LeMans from 1964 through 1972, these arms offer a solid upgrade over worn-out factory parts. They're designed to bolt right into place, using your original hardware, and help put more power to the ground by reducing wheel hop and improving how the car handles through turns.

The construction here is serious business. UMI uses CNC machining for precision, and every weld is TIG welded for maximum strength and rigidity. Inside, you'll find greaseable polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension, complete with zerk fittings so you can keep them well-lubricated for a long life. They also feature reinforced sway bar mounting holes, which work with the factory sway bar and most aftermarket ones. A durable powder coat finish means they'll look good and resist corrosion for a long time.

Installation is straightforward, typically taking about an hour with basic tools, and requires no drilling. This is a popular upgrade for anyone looking to get better performance and a more solid feel from their classic GM rear suspension.
