UMI Performance 64-72 GM A-Body Tubular Upper & Lower Front A-Arm Kit - Black

This UMI Performance A-arm kit gives you a complete set of fabricated tubular upper and lower front control arms, ready to bolt onto your 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicle. You'll receive both the upper and lower arms, pre-assembled with premium ball joints, polyurethane spring isolators, and polyurethane or Delrin bushings. It also includes a hardware kit with Grade 8 bolts, washers, and nylock nuts to replace your old fasteners. This kit is designed to significantly improve your classic car's performance, making it feel more responsive and modern on the street, at the drag strip, or on an autocross course.

The lower control arms feature a strong tubular construction with greaseable polyurethane bushings for precise handling and a smooth ride, along with polyurethane spring isolators. The ball joint mount is angled slightly to provide extra clearance for larger wheels and tires, especially on lowered vehicles. The upper control arms use UMI-designed Delrin bushings for low deflection and are built with billet CrMo cross shafts. They also have a relocated mounting pad that allows for increased caster without needing excessive shims, which helps improve steering feel and stability. Both sets of arms are jig-built for accuracy and TIG welded in critical areas for added strength and a clean appearance. The durable black powder coat finish protects against the elements.

This kit is designed to work with factory spindles and is compatible with factory springs, lowering springs, and coil-over kits like the popular QA1 setups.
