This UMI Performance panhard bar is what you get when the original on your '65-'70 GM B-Body has seen better days. After decades of service, the stock panhard bar is often rusted, corroded, and its rubber bushings are cracked and dry-rotted. This direct replacement bolts right into the factory location, making it a straightforward swap to restore proper rear-end control.
It's built from strong 1.000" x 0.156" DOM mild steel tubing, fully TIG welded for solid construction, and finished with a durable powder coat. The key upgrade here is the inclusion of grease-able polyurethane bushings. These help keep the suspension moving freely while significantly improving rear end stability and controlling unwanted side-to-side movement and body flex. The center-to-center distance is 35-3/4", and while it fits most B-Body models, it's worth double-checking the length if you're installing it on a wagon, as fitment can vary.
Installation is designed to be simple, requiring no modifications and can typically be done in under 30 minutes with basic hand tools.
