UMI Performance 67-69 GM F-Body Viking Front Coil Over Kit Double Adjustable- Polyurethane

This kit gives you everything you need to upgrade the front suspension on your 1967-1969 GM F-Body Camaro or Firebird with a modern coilover setup. You get a pair of double adjustable Viking shocks, each with a hybrid coil spring that matches the shock's bottom mount. The kit also includes polyurethane lower shock mounts, which offer a good balance of ride comfort and performance for street use. You'll also receive the necessary spanner wrenches to make ride height adjustments.

These Viking shocks are double adjustable, meaning you can independently tune both compression and rebound damping. With 19 positions for each, you get over 360 possible combinations to dial in your suspension for anything from daily driving to autocross or drag racing. The hybrid coil springs are designed to work with the shock's adjuster, so you don't need a separate spring compressor. You can choose from several spring rates – 250lb for drag racing only, 350lb for small block street or drag, 450lb for small block handling or big block street, and 550lb for most big block applications or small block handling. The polyurethane mounts are a solid choice for mild street applications, providing a comfortable ride while still offering improved performance over stock rubber bushings. For more aggressive use like road racing or drag strip, bearing mounts are recommended for increased reliability.

It's worth noting that while the polyurethane mounts are included and suitable for many uses, UMI Performance does not take responsibility for bushing damage if used in high-performance applications. For the easiest ride height adjustments, a thrust bearing kit is recommended, which allows the spring seat to rotate on a bearing. These shocks are built, dyno tested, and serialized in Lakeville, Minnesota, and feature a protective finish to keep them looking good.
