UMI Performance 68-72 GM A-Body Rear Control Arm Kit Fully Boxed Lowers Adjustable Uppers

This rear control arm kit from UMI Performance includes fully boxed lower control arms and adjustable upper control arms, designed to improve the handling and stability of your classic GM A-Body vehicle. It's a solid addition for street driving, drag racing, or spirited cornering, helping to reduce suspension deflection for a more responsive feel and less wheel hop. The kit is built to fit a range of popular GM A-Body models from the late 60s and early 70s, including vehicles like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Skylark.

The lower control arms are constructed from 3" x 1-1/2" rectangular steel tubing with CNC machined radius ends and capped ends to keep debris out, maintaining a clean factory look. They also feature reinforced sway bar holes. The heavy-duty upper control arms offer on-car adjustability using CrMo adjusters and Teflon-lined rod ends, which work like solid bushings to allow for suspension articulation during harder launches while minimizing friction. These upper arms include heavy-duty ¼" thick laser-cut mounting pads designed to work with various rear end housings.

All control arms are CNC machined for accuracy and assembled with greaseable polyurethane bushings and zinc-plated steel sleeves. They come with a durable powder coat finish for long-lasting protection. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about 2 hours with basic hand tools.
