When you're looking to firm up the rear suspension on your classic GM A-Body, this rear control arm kit from UMI Performance is a solid choice. You get a set of fully boxed lower control arms and heavy-duty upper control arms designed to reduce suspension deflection. This means less wheel hop and a more responsive feel whether you're cruising, hitting the strip, or carving corners. The kit is built to fit a range of popular GM A-Body models from 1968-1972, including cars like the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Skylark.
The lower control arms are constructed from beefy 3” x 1-1/2” rectangular tubing with CNC machined radius ends that are fully capped to keep dirt and debris out, maintaining a clean, factory-like appearance. They also feature reinforced sway bar holes. The upper control arms are built tough with ¼” thick laser-cut mounting pads and include UMI's CrMo on-car adjusters. These adjusters make it straightforward to dial in your pinion angle for optimal performance without needing to remove the arms. Both sets of arms are MIG welded and come assembled with greaseable polyurethane bushings and zinc-plated steel sleeves for durability and smooth operation.
This kit is finished with a durable powder coat for long-lasting protection and is made right here in the USA.
