UMI Performance 68-72 GM A-Body Viking Front Coil Over Kit Double Adjustable- Polyurethane

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for classic American muscle cars. This front coilover kit is designed for 1968-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, offering a significant upgrade over stock suspension. It combines a hybrid coil spring with a double-adjustable shock absorber, allowing you to fine-tune your ride for various driving conditions, from cruising to track days.

What sets this kit apart is the 19-position adjustment for both compression and rebound damping, giving you 361 possible combinations to dial in your car's handling. The kit includes a hybrid coil spring that fits directly onto your vehicle's upper spring perch, with the lower end matching the coilover shock. The shock adjuster itself acts as the spring compressor, meaning you don't need a separate tool for that. You can choose from several spring rates – 250lb for drag-only, 350lb for small block cruising or drag, 450lb for small block cruising or big block drag, and 550lb for small block handling or most big blocks. The polyurethane lower shock mounts offer a balance of ride comfort and reduced harshness for street applications.

This kit is designed to work with UMI's own lower and geometry-corrected upper A-arms, but it will also fit with your factory lower A-arms. For easier ride height adjustments, consider the optional spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit, which allows you to adjust height without removing the shock and makes turning the spring seat much smoother. The shocks are built, dyno-tested, and serialized in Lakeville, Minnesota, and feature a brilliant protective finish to keep them looking good.
