UMI Performance 68-72 GM A-Body Viking Front Coil Over Kit Double Adjustable- Bearing

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components that improve the handling and stance of classic muscle cars. This Viking front coilover kit is a prime example, designed to give your 1964-1966 GM A-Body a significant upgrade in performance and adjustability. It combines a high-quality hybrid coil spring with a 19-position double adjustable shock, allowing you to fine-tune your ride for everything from street cruising to serious track days. The kit is designed so the adjuster itself acts as the spring compressor, meaning you won't need a separate spring compressor tool for installation.

What really sets this kit apart is the level of customization it offers. The double adjustable shocks let you independently adjust both compression and rebound damping, giving you 361 possible combinations to dial in your suspension for street, strip, auto-cross, or road racing. You can also easily adjust ride height from stock down to a 3-inch drop using the included spanner wrenches and thrust bearing kit, which makes height adjustments much smoother by placing a bearing between the spring and the spring seat. For the lower shock mount, you can choose bearing ends for maximum reliability and performance in demanding applications like drag racing or auto-cross, or polyurethane for a more comfortable street ride.

This kit includes two front coilover shocks, each built and dyno-tested in Lakeville, Minnesota, and two front springs. You can choose from several spring rates to match your intended use: 250lb for drag racing only, 350lb for small block cruise or drag with lightening, 450lb for small block cruise or big block drag, and 550lb for small block handling or most big blocks. This kit works perfectly with UMI's lower A-arms or your factory lower A-arms, and is designed to pair well with UMI's geometry-corrected upper A-arms for a complete suspension overhaul.
