UMI Performance 68-72 GM A-Body Viking Front Coil Over Kit Double Adjustable- Bearing

This kit gets you a pair of Viking double adjustable front coilover shocks and a pair of hybrid coil springs, ready to bolt onto your 1968-1972 GM A-Body. You'll also receive the spanner wrenches and thrust bearing kit needed for easier ride height adjustments. These coilover shocks feature independent 19-position adjusters for both compression and rebound damping, giving you a wide range of tuning options for everything from street cruising to serious track use. The hybrid springs are designed to work with the coilover shock bottom, and the adjuster itself acts as the spring compressor, so you won't need a separate tool for installation.

You can select the spring rate that best suits your needs, whether you're building a dedicated drag car with the 250lb springs, a street/strip car with the 350lb option, or a handling-focused machine with the 450lb or 550lb springs. The bearing mount on the lower shock attachment is recommended for performance applications like auto-x and road racing, offering increased reliability over polyurethane bushings. These shocks are built and dyno-tested in Lakeville, Minnesota, and feature a brilliant protective finish to keep them looking good. They're designed to work with UMI's lower A-arms or your factory lower A-arms, and pair well with UMI's geometry-corrected upper A-arms for a complete front-end upgrade.

The included spanner wrenches and thrust bearing kit make adjusting your vehicle's ride height straightforward, even with the shocks installed. The thrust bearing, placed between the spring and the spring seat, reduces friction for smoother adjustments. While not strictly required for installation, this kit is highly recommended for easier tuning. Remember that performance parts, especially those with bearing mounts, will feel and sound different than stock rubber-mounted components.
