This Viking front coilover kit is designed for a range of classic American cars, including models like the 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, as well as 1978-1996 Buick LeSabre and Chevrolet Caprice. It combines a high-quality hybrid coil spring with a 19-position double adjustable shock, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension for various driving conditions without needing a spring compressor.

The real advantage here is the adjustability. You get independent control over both compression and rebound damping with 19 distinct settings for each, giving you 361 possible combinations. This means you can set up your car for a comfortable street cruise, a day at the drag strip, or a competitive auto-x or road race event, all with the same shock. The kit includes a bearing-mounted bottom for increased reliability and performance, especially in demanding applications. You can choose from several spring rates, like the included 350lb option, which is suitable for small block cruising or drag racing with some lightening, or opt for higher rates for improved handling.

This kit is designed to work with UMI's lower A-arms or your factory lower A-arms, and UMI recommends pairing it with their geometry-corrected upper A-arms for optimal results. The kit comes with the front coilover shocks and springs, and while not strictly required for installation, the optional thrust bearing and spanner wrench kit is highly recommended for making ride height adjustments easier. The shocks are built, dyno-tested, and serialized in Lakeville, Minnesota, ensuring a solid option for your vehicle's front suspension.
