This is the UMI Performance Viking front coilover kit, designed for a range of classic American cars like the 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, as well as 1978-1996 Buick LeSabre and Chevrolet Caprice models. It combines a hybrid coil spring with a 19-position double adjustable shock, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension for everything from street cruising to track days. The unique design means you don't need a spring compressor; the adjuster itself handles that job, making installation more straightforward.

What sets this kit apart is the level of adjustability. The Viking shocks offer independent control over both compression and rebound damping, giving you 361 possible tuning combinations. This means you can dial in the perfect setup for drag racing, autocross, road racing, or just a comfortable street ride. You can also easily adjust ride height, from stock to a 3-inch drop, using the included spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit, which makes turning the spring seat much smoother. For demanding applications like road racing or drag strips, the bearing mount on the lower shock attachment point offers increased reliability over polyurethane bushings.

When ordering, you'll select the spring rate that best suits your needs, with options ranging from 250 lb for dedicated drag use to 650 lb for handling-focused applications on small or big block cars.
