UMI Performance 70-81 GM F-Body Extended Coilover Mount Front

This weld-in upper coilover mount kit from UMI Performance is what you get when you're ready to put true racing coilovers on the front of your 1970-1981 Camaro or Firebird. The kit includes the extended mount itself, a 5-1/2 inch reinforcement ring, and templates to help you trim the frame correctly for installation. It's designed to position a 2-1/2 inch racing coilover in the right spot, especially when paired with UMI's 2655 adjustable lower arm or other compatible aftermarket arms.

Built from strong 3/16 inch thick laser-cut steel, this mount is made for competition. It features a quick-align bolt system with sleeves to fit shocks that are 1 inch or 1-1/4 inch wide, using a 1/2 inch bolt. UMI Performance also offers specific Afco and Viking shocks and springs that bolt right in, or you can measure and fit other brands. Because this is a competition-specific part that requires cutting and welding, installation by an experienced fabricator is strongly recommended.
