This front A-arm kit for your 1970-1981 GM F-Body, like the Camaro and Firebird, is designed to give your classic a more modern feel on the road. It works by increasing positive caster and improving the camber curve, which makes a big difference in how the car steers and handles, especially at higher speeds. UMI achieves this by relocating the upper and lower ball joints, giving you a steering feel that's more precise and stable.

This kit includes upper and lower A-arms built from USA-made DOM steel tubing, assembled with UMI's own Delrin bushings. Delrin is a great material for bushings because it offers low friction and reduces deflection, leading to crisper steering response. You also get a taller upper ball joint to improve camber gain during hard cornering, and an offset CrMo cross shaft on the upper arms that helps simplify alignment by reducing the number of shims needed. The heavy-duty spring bucket is designed to accept factory coil springs, aftermarket springs, and popular hybrid coilover units from brands like Viking and QA1. Plus, UMI's double shear sway bar end links are included, which work well with their own sway bars or most other factory-style eyelet sway bars. The kit is a direct bolt-in for your vehicle and is available in UMI red or gloss black powder coat.
