UMI Performance 70-81 GM F-Body Lower A- Arms Race Version

Built from 1.500-inch USA-made DOM steel tubing, these UMI Performance lower A-arms are specifically crafted for the demands of track use on your 1970-1981 GM F-Body, including your Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. The race-focused design incorporates a double shear coilover mount, ready to accept standard 1/2-inch rod end shocks and includes spacers for popular models. This coilover-only setup helps save weight compared to traditional spring bucket designs.

A key feature for trackside adjustments is the removable lower mounting system, which allows for spring changes without needing to separate the ball joints. The lower ball joint has been relocated forward to offer up to 4 degrees of additional caster potential, contributing to improved steering feel and straight-line stability. These arms also feature a double shear sway bar mount with an included end link, compatible with UMI sway bars and many factory-style bars. The arms come with Delrin bushings for smooth suspension travel and reduced deflection, and they include premium Howe standard height ball joints.

For the ultimate handling package, UMI recommends pairing these lower A-arms with their P/N 2656-1 upper A-arms, which can help achieve up to 10 degrees of caster. UMI offers an optional hardware kit with high-grade mounting hardware, available in either 1/2-inch standard or 14mm metric sizes to match your specific vehicle's needs (1970-1974 typically use 1/2-inch, while 1975-1981 use 14mm). These arms are designed as a direct bolt-in upgrade, enhancing camber curve and roll center height for incredible front-end grip.
