UMI Performance 70-81 GM F-Body Tubular Upper & Lower A-arm Kit

This kit from UMI Performance includes a full set of tubular upper and lower A-arms, designed to bolt directly onto your 1970-1981 GM F-Body vehicle. You'll get both the driver and passenger side upper and lower control arms, complete with UMI built Delrin bushings for the uppers and high-quality polyurethane bushings for the lowers. Also included are pancake style polyurethane bump stops, heavy-duty lower spring buckets that accept factory or aftermarket springs and popular hybrid coilovers, and UMI's double shear sway bar end links. The kit is finished in your choice of UMI red or gloss black powder coat.

These A-arms are built from USA-made DOM steel tubing and feature caster relocation for both the upper and lower ball joints. This updated geometry aims to improve steering feel and enhance high-speed stability, with a caster range of 5-7 degrees. The upper control arms use CrMo offset cross shafts, which means you'll need fewer shims to get your camber dialed in. The lower spring bucket is beefy, ready to handle various spring setups, and the double shear sway bar mounts are designed to work with UMI's own sway bar (P/N 4035) as well as most other factory eyelet style sway bars. Laser-cut reinforcement plates are added for both strength and appearance.

This kit is a direct bolt-in for a wide range of GM F-Body cars, including the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird from 1970-1981. It also fits other GM vehicles like the Buick LeSabre, Chevrolet Caprice, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Nova, and Pontiac Bonneville and Catalina within their respective production years. UMI offers an optional new hardware kit, with options for both 1/2-inch standard hardware (1970-1974) and 14mm metric hardware (1975-1981), as the arms are supplied with sleeves to accept either size.
