They let you adjust the length of the control arm, which is key for centering your rear end, especially if you're fitting larger tires or have an aftermarket rear axle. This adjustment also helps prevent tire rubbing on the fender wells.

What sets these apart is UMI's Roto-Joint technology. Unlike stock rubber bushings or aftermarket polyurethane, the Roto-Joints use a greaseable Delrin race around a pivot ball. This setup allows for a full 28 degrees of movement without binding, giving you a quieter ride and more consistent handling, whether you're cruising the street, hitting the autocross course, or running drag races. The arms themselves are constructed from strong 1-1/2” DOM mild steel tubing with TIG-welded chromoly adapters. The threaded ends have left and right-hand threads, making on-car adjustments straightforward – just loosen the jam nuts and turn the wrench. They also include reinforced provisions for sway bar mounting.
