UMI Performance 78-88 G-Body S10 Tubular Front Upper A-Arms

The relocated ball joint plate on these UMI Performance tubular upper A-arms is a key design choice, allowing for up to six degrees of positive caster without needing excessive shims. This improved caster angle directly contributes to better steering feedback and a more precise feel, especially noticeable during spirited driving or on the track. These arms are built using robust DOM tubing, bent on a programmable tube bender for consistent geometry, and then TIG welded for strength and a clean appearance. They are designed as a direct bolt-in for factory or UMI lower A-arms and spindles, making installation straightforward.

Inside these A-arms, you'll find UMI-designed Delrin bushings. These are CNC machined, fluted, and greaseable, offering minimal deflection for a solid connection to the chassis. The arms also feature 4140 CrMo cross shafts that are CNC machined and zinc plated for durability, along with premium ball joints and included polyurethane bump stops.
