UMI Performance 78-88 G-Body S10 Tubular Front Upper & Lower A-Arms Delrin

Starting with the UMI-built billet CrMo cross shafts, these tubular upper and lower A-arms are a significant upgrade over your stock stamped arms. They're designed to give your 1978-1988 G-Body or S10 vehicle a more precise feel and improved handling. UMI Performance has assembled these arms with their own greaseable Delrin bushings, which they manufacture in-house to ensure smooth suspension action and reduced deflection. This means you get a more connected feel to the road, whether you're cruising or pushing your vehicle a bit harder.

The design includes a relocated upper ball joint mount to increase caster without needing excessive shims, which helps with steering feel and stability. They also come with taller upper ball joints to improve camber performance, especially beneficial if your vehicle is lowered. The lower arms are built with a slight angle in the ball joint mount to give you more clearance for larger wheels and tires, and they also feature the same in-house Delrin bushings. Both sets of arms are jig-built for accuracy, ensuring they fit right the first time, and come pre-assembled with premium ball joints and bump stops. Critical areas are TIG welded for strength and a clean appearance, and the arms are finished in a durable glossy red or black powder coat.

This kit is designed to work with factory springs, lowering springs, and common coil-over setups like QA1. UMI includes recommended alignment specifications and detailed installation instructions to help you get the most out of these arms. The kit also includes a hardware kit with Grade 10.9 metric bolts, washers, and nylock nuts for a complete installation. This package offers a notable weight savings over the factory components, contributing to a more responsive suspension.
