What you get here are a pair of UMI Performance front lower A-arms, specifically designed for coilover setups on 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles and 1982-2003 S10/S15 trucks. These aren't just stock replacements; they're built to significantly improve your vehicle's suspension geometry and performance, whether you're hitting the street, the strip, or the track. They feature a relocated ball joint cup that offers up to 10 degrees of caster when paired with UMI's upper control arms, helping to keep your spindle centered and improving steering stability.

The design includes a 3/4-inch taller Howe ball joint, which helps optimize your roll center and lowers the vehicle's ride height by about half an inch. A key feature for racers is the removable double shear shock mount; this allows you to change springs and shocks quickly at the track without having to disconnect the ball joints, saving valuable time. For bind-free operation, UMI uses their own designed Delrin bushings, ensuring smooth travel for street, strip, road race, or auto-x use. These arms are constructed from 1-1/4-inch and 1-1/2-inch USA DOM tubing and are CNC laser cut, making them a strong and well-built upgrade over stock stamped arms, saving 3.2 lbs per set.

You'll also find an adjustable aluminum steering stop to limit steering lock and prevent tire damage, and a double shear sway bar mounting system that works with UMI sway bars and many other aftermarket units. These lower A-arms are designed to work best when used in conjunction with caster-corrected upper A-arms, and UMI recommends adding their P/N 3060 bump steer kit for optimal performance.
