UMI Performance 78-88 GM G-Body 82-03 S10/S15 Front Lower A-arms Coilover Only

If you're looking to significantly improve the handling and stance of your 1978-1988 GM G-Body or 1982-2003 S10/S15, these front lower A-arms from UMI Performance are built for serious performance. Designed specifically for coilover shock setups, these arms allow for a lower ride height and more aggressive alignment possibilities, making them ideal for street corner carving, auto-cross, road racing, or drag strip duty.

These A-arms feature a relocated ball joint cup that works with UMI's upper arms to achieve up to 10 degrees of caster, which helps keep your spindle centered and improves steering stability. The 3/4” taller Howe ball joint is a key component that helps optimize your vehicle's roll center and lowers the ride height by about half an inch. A notable feature is the removable double shear shock mount; this allows you to change springs and shocks quickly at the track without having to disconnect the ball joints, saving valuable time. For bind-free operation, UMI uses their own designed Delrin bushings, which are known for smooth travel. The construction uses 1-¼” and 1-½” USA DOM tubing, and CNC laser-cut components ensure precision throughout. You also get an adjustable aluminum steering stop to prevent tire and wheel damage from over-steering.

Beyond the core suspension benefits, these lower A-arms also include a double shear sway bar mounting system that works with UMI sway bars and many other aftermarket units. UMI also recommends their P/N 3060 bump steer kit for optimal performance.
