UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for classic American cars. If you're working on a 1978-1988 GM G-Body and need to fit larger tires or are doing a mini-tub, these adjustable lower control arms are a solid option. They move the control arm inward by 3/8 of an inch thanks to the offset aluminum bushings, giving you that extra clearance you need.
These aren't just about clearance; they're built for strength and adjustability. The arms are TIG welded from strong DOM steel (or optional 4130 CrMo for even more strength and less weight) and feature Teflon-lined spherical rod ends. This setup helps eliminate rear suspension bind and allows for easy on-car adjustments to center your rear end or fine-tune tire clearance. You can adjust them to be up to 1 inch longer or 1 inch shorter than stock, and they come pre-set to the factory length.
These control arms are designed for race applications and light street use, and they don't have sway bar mounting holes, so they work best with aftermarket sway bars that mount elsewhere. They fit a range of vehicles including the Buick Regal, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Pontiac Grand Prix.
