UMI Performance 78-88 GM G-Body Adjustable Lower Control Arms Rod Ends

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for American muscle cars. These adjustable lower control arms are a prime example, designed for both race applications and street use on your 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicle, like the Buick Regal, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, or Pontiac Grand Prix. They replace your factory control arms to eliminate rear suspension bind, thanks to the spherical rod ends that offer a solid foundation. This setup is especially helpful if you're running wider tires or need to center an aftermarket rear end, as the double adjustment feature lets you make on-car changes easily.

These control arms are constructed from strong DOM steel tubing and are TIG welded for maximum strength, with an option for even lighter and stronger 4130 CrMo steel. The rod ends are Teflon lined and self-lubricating, designed for high load capacity. UMI machines the tube adapters in-house from 4130 CrMo for added durability. They are supplied pre-set to factory length, offering an adjustment range of 1 inch longer or 1 inch shorter, and are designed for aftermarket sway bars that don't attach to the control arms, meaning they come without sway bar holes.

These control arms reuse your factory hardware, though a new hardware kit is available separately. They are finished in a durable red or black powder coat and are made in the USA.
