This kit includes the boxed trailing arms and the bolt-on brackets designed to fit factory 7.5 and GN 8.5 rear axle housings on a range of GM G-Body vehicles, including models like the Buick Regal, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Pontiac Grand Prix. It's built to optimize your vehicle's instant center, which helps improve forward traction by lowering the rear pickup point of the lower control arm. This relocation is key for better drag launch capability.

The trailing arms themselves are fully boxed for strength and feature offset sway bar holes. This is a smart detail that allows you to keep your factory sway bar level even when you've lowered the control arm pickup point. You get three different positions to adjust the instant center, giving you options to fine-tune your vehicle's handling and traction for different situations. All the UMI components are constructed from US Steel and come with new grade 10.9 hardware, including greaseable polyurethane bushings.
