What sets these apart is the Roto-Joint technology. Instead of traditional rubber bushings that can bind up, these use a spherical ball rotating in a Delrin race. This setup gives you a full 28 degrees of movement without binding, which helps the suspension articulate smoothly over bumps and during hard cornering. The control arms themselves are constructed from strong 3-inch by 1-1/2-inch rectangular steel tubing with a 0.120-inch wall thickness, and they're MIG and TIG welded for extra durability. UMI also reinforced the sway bar mounting holes, which is a nice touch for cars that see harder use.
