UMI Performance 79-04 Ford Mustang Adjustable Upper Control Arms - Ultimate Arms

When you're working on the rear suspension of your 1979-2004 Ford Mustang, these Ultimate Arms from UMI Performance give you the adjustability you need to dial in your setup. You get a pair of adjustable upper control arms, designed to let you fine-tune your pinion angle and the lateral position of your rear end. This is especially helpful if you've lowered your car or are looking for more precise handling characteristics.

These arms are built tough. They feature laser-cut mild steel mounting brackets and strong CrMo adjusters, paired with race-quality Teflon-lined rod ends for smooth, reliable movement. The adjusters are made from 4140 steel for ultimate strength, and the threaded ends are TIG welded. UMI Performance crafts these right here in the USA and finishes them with a durable powder coat. The design allows for easy adjustments right on the car, making it simpler to get your alignment just right.

Installation is a bolt-in process, and the kit includes new Grade 10.9 mounting hardware, which consists of 12mm bolts and Ny-lock nuts. While the arms themselves are a straightforward installation, UMI also offers an optional polyurethane bushing kit (P/N 1008) for the rear end differential bushings, which can add a bit more time to the job but further refines the rear suspension feel.
