UMI Performance 82-02 F-Body Double Adjustable Control Arms- Roto-Joints

Starting with the Roto-Joint technology, these double adjustable lower control arms from UMI Performance are built to give your 1982-2002 F-body Camaro a more precise feel and better handling. The Roto-Joint itself is a pivot ball with a greaseable Delrin race, allowing for a significant amount of articulation without binding. This is a big step up from the factory rubber bushings, letting your suspension move more freely, which is especially helpful during aggressive driving like auto-cross or road racing, but it's also designed to be streetable for everyday driving.

These control arms are fabricated from 1-1/4” drawn over mandrel tubing, which is a strong and consistent material. The threaded adapters are TIG welded for added strength, and they feature left and right-hand threads. This means you can easily adjust the length of the control arm right on the car to center your rear end or fine-tune tire clearance for larger wheels. The Delrin race inside the Roto-Joint helps absorb road noise and shock, contributing to a quieter ride than you might expect from a performance suspension part, while also improving traction and reducing wheel hop.

The Roto-Joints are also rebuildable and adjustable, so you can maintain them over time. They use OEM hardware for installation, making the process more straightforward.
